Veleda Oracle
This indie oracle deck (by the amazing Betty Skeet) has been a favourite of mine ever since I discovered a copy of the first edition for purchase a few years ago. I’m such a sucker for bright colours on a black background - and the simplicity of the nature infused imagery really appeals to my preference for clean lines and tidy illustrations on cards. As an oracle deck, you can read it on its own, or pair it easily with other decks.
Its very easy to read these cards intuitively, but I have been lucky enough to be able to include a PDF of the guidebook with every purchase of this deck (you will be contacted after your purchase via email with a copy of the guidebook). I find the provided interpretations to be brilliant and layered enough to evoke and encourage deep and thoughtful readings. But never forget that the beauty of using this deck is that it encourages YOU to create and develop interpretations of your own - just from the illustrations, colours and your interpretation of a single meaningful word.
This version that is available for you to purchase is the second edition - which has 63 cards (as opposed to the original 54 cards in the first edition). It comes in a simple tuckbox, and the cards have 3 different colour schemes - Pink, Lilac and Green. This edition will not be reprinted, so make sure that if you’re keen on getting a copy of this deck, you absolutely take the opportunity that presents itself right now!
