The Animal and Botanical Tarot
Sometimes, you come across an image of something and it makes you stop in your tracks, makes you dig a little deeper to find out more, and the more you look, the more you know that you’ve found something special. That’s how I felt when I came across this deck - and after this interaction I knew I would need to back the Kickstarter campaign to help to bring this deck to life (with all the other people who probably had the exact same reaction to the deck I did!).
Not only does it cover a couple of my favourite subjects (animals, botanica) but the art is amazing - realistic, colourful, eye catching.
When you use the cards, they feel next level special (I love the backs of the cards too). I actually think you could use the cards in an oracle capacity too - and just read them intuitively based on the imagery. There is so much to explore with this deck.
The choice of subjects and images for each card are thoughtful and intuitive - and I find the guidebook adds a lot of additional insight and useful information. A great overall package - which would suit beginners (who love animals and plants!) but would also provide some food for thought and additional perspectives for more seasoned readers.
For me, I love to try and use these cards when I’m actually in nature too - immerse and fall in love all over again!
