Red Hand Lenormand (1st Edition)
Edgy and bold decks naturally catch my eye - and when I first came across this pocket rocket of a deck, I was absolutely smitten. Although the imagery has a horror/gothic element, they don’t feel scary to me - they are meaningful, stunning and draw you in. They carry weight. The red and black colour pallet is gorgeous.
This deck also was one of the first lenormand decks I owned that really gave me a relatable structure to work within to learn and thrive while using the lenormand system. I love the simplicity and straight forward nature of reading with lenormand cards, but I also like that these cards seem to leave a little room for flair and story telling if the need arises, especially if you’re interpreting the cards intuitively. Any pull of cards you complete will satisfy you - regardless of the message, they will please your eye!
The size of the cards is perfect, I love that they come in a tin (they’re great for travelling with), they can be used in many ways (lenormand, oracle or playing cards) and the guidebook fits in the tin too which is great.
This deck will always be on hand for me - and is my go-to lenormand deck of choice. I can’t recommend it enough.
The talented creator of this indie deck (James Brothwell, also known as PixelOccult) has a collection of decks with a similar/wonderful aesthetic (cyber punk, neon punk?) that carries through all of them. They cover tarot, oracle and lenormand systems. The stunning colour pallets, the card quality, the interpretation guidebooks - I will be a confirmed fan and collector of this special collection of decks forever (no joke!).
I am a very proud stockist of PixelOccult decks - and I often sell out of them before I’m able to list them here on the website! So feel free to get in touch if you want to check whether I have stock on hand or not.
Of note: The deck creator has released a second edition of the Red Hand Lenormand deck - it is similar but comes in a rigid box rather than in a tin. Once I sell out of the 1st edition, I’ll look into stocking the 2nd edition.

Deck specifications (by the deck creator - Pixel Occult):
The Red Hand Lenormand is an extended Lenormand deck featuring 54 unique illustrations that depict a gracefully gothic aesthetic. Aside from the standard 36 Lenormand cards, I’ve included an additional 18 that expand the options one can read with. It can be a regular Lenormand deck, an expanded Oracle deck, or just a pretty playing card deck according to your preferences.
The Red Hand Lenormand has a stark red and black color scheme with highlights of white, giving it a cohesive look. While the images have a darker horror-esque theme, they contain all of the light and dark themes and meanings of a standard Lenormand deck.
However you choose to use your deck, my hope is that this booklet will provide a good starting point and that the deck will serve you well in your endeavours.
Fully-illustrated 54 card extended Lenormand Deck
Printed at the standard playing card size of 2.48" x 3.46" on master quality linen card stock
Each deck is housed in a tin and comes with a 50 page booklet for easy reference
