Golden Art Nouveau Tarot
I love mass market decks - can I say that? Well I do, and the quality and range of these decks is so impressive these days - if you can think of a theme, there is a deck for it. And many of these decks started as indie/self published decks and so this is sometimes the epitome of ‘making it’ for some deck creators. For people starting on their tarot journey or on a budget, the mass market ‘pot of gold’ is such a great place to start!
I have to remind myself that this deck is mass market - the gold gold gold everywhere (and I mean everywhere!) and detail on the cards is absolutely stunning and its such a pleasure to use every single time I pick up the deck. I often use this deck when I need a little decadence, a little beauty, and a little bit of ‘diva’ in my readings - honestly, take a look at the people in this deck; beautiful, dramatic, posers, heros, dressed to the nines, got it going on and with that look that they know it. Love it. Sometimes we need that diva energy in our day!
There is a little instruction booklet in this deck (in 5 languages) - the content is concise but really useful but the booklet itself is definitely a bit of an afterthought (classic old school mass market booklet) - but that’s o.k, the cards more than make up for it!
If you need a deck in your collection that’s decadent but affordable, this is your girl!
