Dreamscape Oracle
I love to read with both tarot and oracle decks - and when this oracle deck was first produced (as an indie deck), I was allllll over it. I love the Ethereal Visions tarot deck (which was also created by Matt Hughes) and this deck was the perfect oracle deck to pair with it - beautiful illustrations, gold foil, and an aesthetic that appeals to my appreciation of art nouveau aesthetics.
The card interpretations/meanings in the guidebook are short and sweet, and I enjoy reading the more involved descriptions and background explanations of the concepts behind the card. They provide good context for the card meanings.
And I just LOVE the backs of these cards.
This version of the Dreamscape Oracle being offered as part of the MoonAmaia collection of decks is the mass market version produced by US Games - but don’t let that dissuade you - the cards feel just as special in this version as the indie deck version that I originally backed via Kickstarter.
Note: Matt Hughes has created a number of decks in this style and they are all wonderful - if you are looking for a tarot deck to pair with this oracle deck, perhaps consider the Ethereal Visions Illuminated Tarot Deck which Matt has also created.
_____
From Matt Hughes’ website and US Games:
Dreamscape Oracle presents 32 guides, some animal messengers, some mythological archetypes, to help us explore the liminal spaces in our lives.
Together this oracle deck and 80-page guidebook allow us to interpret the messages we receive from our higher selves.
This deluxe deck has gold foil stamping on the cards and box. The Dreamscape Oracle can be used as a stand-alone divination deck, or as a companion to the Ethereal Visions Tarot.
Box measures 3.25” x 5.25”; 32 cards measure 3” x 5”.
